50 Litre Fresh Water Tank Kit for VW Crafter 2018 Onwards FWD MWB Campervan - Black Filler
Front Wheel Drive Medium Wheelbase Models Only - Black Filler Fresh Tank - Fittings Pre-Welded - Brackets and fixings - Black Filler
|
This fresh tank is designed to fit longitudinally on the passenger side behind the fuel tank in front of the rear axle. Capacity of 50 litres.
Fixing kit supplied with 2 brackets, hookbolts and locking nuts.
Front bracket hooks one side into chassis side of cross member using 8 inch hookbolt. The handbrake side of the bracket hooks into existing hole in crossmember for handbrake cable using a 4 inch hookbolt.
Rear bracket will need 2 holes drilled into front face of cross member just in front of rear axle using 2 x 7 inch hookbolts.
Please note that the tank will need to be packed on the rear between tank and cross member with a 15mm pack on the hump of the tank. A block will be needed to the side of the hump of approximately 65mm. Packing is also needed on the front of the tank between the tank and the cross member of approximately 20mm to clear the brake pipe. Difference in packing height is to maintain slope of tank so it slopes slightly to the front for draining.
Three welded fittings included: 1 x 40mm inlet, 1 x 15mm pump outlet and 1 x 25mm drain, all pre-welded to the passenger side of the tank towards the front.
Recommend the use of smooth bore supaflex hose which is ultra flexible.
This tank can also be used for waste. See separate listing.
